Those eye catching things that make up pick up books. Sometimes they’re words or topics – which ones make you pick up or buy books? This Top Ten Tuesday is like a Marketing Intern’s DREAM. Here are the words and topics that make us pick up books!


 

1. The word LOVE

2. The words: John Green – Literally people, whether it’s a book by John Green  or John Green blurbing it, we’ll buy it.

3. Road Trips – Seriously, what’s better than road trips?

    Rachelia (Bookish Comforts) - John Green = YES. Did he blurb the Hunger Games? I was a bit late to that game, haha.

    Roadtrips are so fun! I am always attracted to time travel (I seriously just watch the trailer over and over for The Time Travellers Wife, haha. Didn’t like the full movie too much but the trailer is great!).

    Janita @ Book, Interrupted - I’ve always shied away from books about time travel because it makes my brain hurt trying to figure out the consequences for the character’s actions. I should read more of them though, because they are super interesting. Great list!ReplyCancel
