Brittany @ The Book Addict's Guide - See, I took Wren from Fangirl and forgot all about Levi! I really do love his name too. Calliope is also a great one. It’s so beautiful and easily shortened as well for people who don’t want to use the full name.
I liked Blue’s name! At first, I actually really DID NOT but it truly grew on me as I got to know her character.
Omg, don’t even talk about Manchee! I’m still upset. But I do like his name!ReplyCancel

Jessica L. Brooks - Ack! I love how you share the origin of the names! This is great! (I tend to research this, too, when I’m naming new characters!)

I love Levi for many reasons. Though I’ve yet to read Fangirl, Levi is also one of the main characters in Neal Shusterman’s UNWIND series, and this Levi really does have more of an attachment to the Hebrew name in the aspect of tithing!

Re: Manchee… I totally forgot about pets! Love The Knife of Never Letting Go… and he has a great name.

Also, I love love love Jonah. And Jonas. And Joel. And… Okay, enough of the J names (they’re on my list, too).

Last, I really like Finley. And Finnick. ;)

Great list. Thanks for sharing! :DReplyCancel
