ALL OF THE HARRY POTTER BOOKS

You guys, we don’t even want to go into why he hasn’t read Harry Potter.

We’ll see if S can get him to read any more of her favorites. So far he’s read two – The Fault in Ours Stars by John Green and Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (1 chapter). You can find his thoughts on those two books here.

What books do you wish your significant other would read?

Stacy Renee - I had to read the first few Harry Potter books to my boyfriend years ago because he’s not a big fan of reading but will sit and listen to me read out loud. Great list, though. :)

Bekka @ Pretty Deadly Reviews - I can’t get my husband to read anything either. Though, I DID get him to finally pick up The Hunger Games and he really liked it! It took him quite a while to get through Catching Fire, and in the end, he just wanted me to tell him what happens in Mockingjay. But it’s awesome that we get to share the series, especially with the movies coming out. He’s not a reader, obviously, so it’s even better that we get this one book/movie combo that he actually understands.

Anyway, good luck with your boyfriend!

Nikki - Haha, I love this topic! I can’t believe he hasn’t read Harry Potter though! Reading that series should definitely be a requirement for life in general, lol.

Natalie - This is a great topic. My husband doesn’t read as much as I’d like him to, but he will listen to books on cd in his car. He listened, and liked, the Hunger Games series that way. He won’t touch HP though. Great list!

Aly @ My Heart Hearts Books - Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books! People find Jane Austen hard to get into, and that’s definitely the one that I’d start with to ease them into the rest of her work :)
